Space. I’m experiencing the multifaceted dimensions of that word. Beginning with the literal space to move around, living full-time in the truck or RV with two dogs and a husband. To be honest, I’ve enjoyed that aspect tremendously, even when 125 pounds of wet dog greet me with cuddles.
The title for this post has been percolating in my subconscious for two days. While writing in my morning journal (a daily habit, one hour plus coffee), I discovered that “wake up” means “uncover and examine difficult and often shame inducing long-standing issues and delusion that are blocking me from going deeper.”
Today I am packing easy-care outdoor clothes, precooking stews, cleaning the house and bathing the ferret. In two days, I leave on a month long, drag-an-RV-behind-the-truck road trip with my husband and two dogs (14 and 7 months old). Current status: What.thefrack.am.I.doing?
